FoamPartner
supplies polyurethane foam products processed to the degree you require
– from raw blocks of foam to finished products. We will be pleased
to provide information on the processing steps FoamPartner can offer you.
|
Bonding
and laminating
With FoamPartner's bonding equipment (gluing, not flame bonding)
a variety of types of polyurethane foam can be combined with various other
material of your choice to form numerous laminates. |
|
Contour
cutting
Rotating or oscillating blades cut a CAD-programmed pattern. Material
is saved and the cutting time reduced by optimizing the cutting programs
(nesting). |
|
Drilling
& production of cylinders
Special core drills allow cylindrical holes in polyurethane foam.
Diameters from 5 to 200 mm are realized with the aid of appropriate drills.
Large cylinders can be produced on contour cutting equipment. |
|
Flock
coating
To provide technical polyurethane foam surfaces with textile properties,
we can flock coat these continuously with highly varying flock-coating materials.
|
|
Gluing
Various types of foam with highly differing properties can be glued
together allowing the best properties of different types of polyurethane
foam to be combined with one another simply and economically. FoamPartner
uses only solvent-free glues. |
|
Horizontal
and vertical cutting
In addition to numerous horizontal and vertical cutting machines
FoamPartner also has auxiliary equipment for a variety of shapes and geometries.
|
|
Hot
stamping
With the hot-stamping technology, foam material is permanently shaped under
heat and pressure. This changes the pore structure, the bulk weight and
physical properties. A fine structured surface can also be created with
hot stamping. |
|
Longitudinal
splitting (looping)
On our longitudinal splitting equipment 30 mm long blocks can be
cut off and processed to rolls. |
 Roll
diameter up to 1.500 mm
 Roll
width up to 2.150 mm untrimmed
 Layer
thickness from 1 to 30 mm |
|
Processing
with rotary cutting machines
Demanding geometries and shapes are produced on rotary cutting machines.
State-of-the-art machines ensure rational processing. FoamPartner can produce
three-dimensional parts in one operation. The rotary cutting machines can
cut pockets with a depth of 280 mm from solid material and allow flexible
processing of highly varying types of technical polyurethane foam. |
|
Profiling
Various nub profiles can be created from foam slabs on FoamPartner's
profile cutting equipment. Glued and laminated foam can also be processed
in this manner. This can then be connected or bonded to other materials.
|
|
Punching
A large number of identical products can be produced within a very
short time sufficiently and with homogenous quality with our productive
punching equipment. Our punching machines produce up to 1000 parts per minute.
|
|
Reticulation
In the modern reticulation centers at the FoamPartner Group technical
polyurethane foam is reticulated in a control manner, meaning that the cell
diaphragms are removed specifically and completely, so that the foam has
an open-cell structure. The provides ideal semi-finished products for filtration
or saturation. We reticulate blocks and rolled goods. |
|
Shape
profiling
FoamPartner has a great deal of experience in production of demanding
concave and convex sections using Formaplast technology. |
|
Water
jet cutting
20-head water jet cutting machines cut parts to maximum dimensional
accuracy. This allows even extremely small parts to be produced rationally
with high precision and without tool costs. |
