Before Michael Riedel was appointed as Group CEO of FoamPartner in 2018, he worked in various positons at Clariant since 2009, including as Head of Business Excellence, overseeing the integration of Süd-Chemie, as Head of Industrial and Consumer Specialties for the EMEA region and as Group Head Human Resources. His earlier professional career included managerial roles in research and development, production as well as operations at Höchst, Celanese, and SGL Carbon. Michael Riedel studied chemistry at the University of Münster, where he also completed a PhD in experimental chemistry.

From 1999, Tobias Gruener held various managerial positions within the globally operating Freudenberg corporate group, initially in project management and consulting. He later switched to the Sealing Technology division, where he managed the Supply Chain Management O-Ring division as a member of the management team. From 2008 to 2013, he was responsible in the global management team of the Freudenberg Global O-Ring division for Global Operations, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Lean Management, among other things.

After completing his professional training, Olaf Vorwald joined Otto Bock Kunststoff GmbH as a key account manager before moving to Pittsburgh, PA, to start a sales office there. Furthermore, as Sales Director, he was not only responsible for global sales of PUR Foam Systems and Molded Parts, but also for the global development of sales strategies for new markets and products. Since 2014, Olaf Vorwald has been the Managing Director of the location in Rochester Hills, Michigan (USA).

Mr Victor Liu studied material science at the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in China. He later gained his Master’s degree in Polymer engineering in Sichuan University in China. Victor started his career as a sales engineer. In past 24 years, he built his expertise in both commercial and operation through his working experience in polymer related industries in Asia and Canada. Victor has been working for General Electric (plastic), United Plastic Group and Parker Hannifin with increased responsibilities. Prior to joining FoamPartner, Victor has been leading sealing technologies business division in Asia Pacific in Parker Hannifin.

Over the course of his career, Kay Kosar has gained many years of experience in a variety of sales positions before coming to FoamPartner, including as a key account manager for Carcoustics Shared Services and as a sales director at Metzeler Schaum GmbH.

Klaus Hellmold has many years of experience in the polyurethane industry. After completing his professional training at Otto Bock Kunststoff GmbH, he acquired a great deal of specialist knowledge in various positions. Among other things, he was responsible for project management for flexible slabstock foams and, as Key Account Manager, was a driving force internationally for the further development of this sector. In 2014, he took over as the Head of the Business Unit Technical Foams and has been an authorized representative since 2016.

Following international roles in marketing and sales in the pharmacy and medical technology industry, Rita Kollbrunner switched to FoamPartner, Fritz Nauer AG, Wolfhausen as Sales & Product Manager Medical in 1999 and assumed the management of the Medical strategic business unit in 2004. At the end of 2006, she began the establishment and management of the globally operating Marketing & Communication division in the FoamPartner Group.

Mr. Krause began his career at FoamPartner as Head of the Industry and Packaging business division and from 2007 until 2010 was Head of Sales and Marketing/Technical Foams. From 1990–1999 was employed by automotive supplier as a Senior Product Manager.

Martin Gerstenberg has acquired extensive specialist knowledge in the polyurethane industry over many years. After completing his professional training at Otto Bock Kunststoff GmbH, he acquired a great deal of experience in various positions. Among other things, he was responsible for project management for foam systems and, as Key Account Manager, was a driving force internationally for the further development of the Systems business unit. Furthermore, he was also responsible for cross-departmental aspects of company marketing. In 2014, he took over as the Head of the GBU Systems.

From 1982 to 1989 Mr. Perler worked in various companies as a development chemist. From 1989 he held various positions at the Ems-Chemie subsidiary EFTEC. During this period he was responsible for the development and application techniques of polyurethane and rubber adhesives as well as acoustically effective coatings for the automotive construction industry. From 1997 he was a member of the executive board of the profit centre EFTEC, Romanshorn.
