OBoSonic is a polyurethane system for acoustic solutions. OBoSonic systems are used primarily in automotive applications, such as for integrated sound insulation for engine covers, injector and rail encapsulation, creative designer covers or to encapsulate high pressure pumps – OBoSonic is the professional PUR system acoustic solution.

The high quality acoustic foam material offers guaranteed outstanding sound absorption and good temperature resistance. OBoSonic® integral foam systems
Molded foam parts made from OBoSonic integral foam use a special PUR formula. The foam’s properties include a cellular core and a closed surface. The integral foam solutions combine optimal sound insulation properties with good skin formation for designer surfaces – naturally, with corresponding abrasion and media resistance. We can customize the foam structure based on your specific needs.

OBoSonic® semi-rigid systems
The semi-rigid OBoSonic foam systems have a fine, open-celled structure. These semi-rigid systems are free from climate-damaging propellants and do not contain any halogenated flame retardants or abrasive fillers. Thanks to its microporous surface, OBoSonic semi-rigid combines outstanding sound insulation properties with corresponding media resistance.

OBoSonic® soft foam systems
Molded foam parts made from OBoSonic soft foam use a special PUR formula with a high proportion of open cells. They are free from climate-damaging propellants and do not contain any halogenated flame retardants. The fine, open-celled foam structure of OBoSonic soft foam guarantees good sound absorption behavior. The microporous surface also ensures corresponding media resistance.
